About Gallery 152

Located in a beautifully restored heritage building, Gallery 152 is a commercial gallery working to restore York's reputation as a hub for artists, festivals and other cultural events. York is Western Australia's first inland town which is characterised by its many heritage buildings.

Gallery 152 presents exhibitions featuring the work of Australian contemporary artists working in a diverse range of media, including Stewart Scambler, Mikaela Castledine, Mandy Renard, Sujora Conrad, Philomena Coppola, Lia Mcknight, Judy Rogers, Carly LeCerf, Tim Burns, Lana de Jaeger, Stephen Castledine, John Feeney, David Gregson, Janelle Mendham, Heather Shimmen, Helen Clarke, Britt Mikkelsen, Michael Schlitz, Vania Lawson and many more.

Venue Hire

The gallery space is available for hire for artists wanting to host their own exhibitions. The gallery measures 6m x 8.4m, offering a 4m high hanging space. Fees start from $250 + gst/week for a maximum of four weeks, including public liability insurance. Hirers will need to provide their own artwork insurance protection. Creative Space for workshops

Have a burning desire to share your knowledge and know-how? We'd love to hear from artists interested in teaching regular workshops or for one-offs. We have indoor and outdoor areas available for a range of art practices, including wet areas and can provide onsite accommodation for residential workshops. Workshop tutors will need to provide their own equipment.
