Artitja Fine Art return to Gallery 152 with their SPRING SALON | Art + Objects exhibition as part of the 2018 York Festival.
The exhibition features art and sculptural objects as well as licensed designer giftware which return royalties to artists. Artitja Fine Art showcases Australian Aboriginal art and the Spring Salon will feature artists from regional and remote communities from across the North-west, central Australia and the Northern Territory.
Artitja's Salons have been a regular a feature of their annual program and this year will include the work of some of its feature artists and key emerging talent from Australia's most remote communities.
Established in 2004 by Anna Kanaris and Arthur Clarke, Artitja have built a reputation for connecting cultures in communities from the North-west of WA, the central Australian desert, Northern Territory and Arnhem Land as well as in the South-west of Western Australia.
